Software Engineer – Digital Signal Processing

Array has an immediate position for a Signal Processing software developer with experience developing real-time / embedded Digital Signal Processing (DSP) applications in a UNIX / Linux environment.

“Must Have” Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years software development experience
• Minimum 5 years experience developing applications for UNIX or Linux
• Minimum 5 years C++ development experience
• Experience of Digital Signal Processing / Signal and Image Processing applications
• Experience in implementing algorithms using parallel processing
• Object-orientated design skills
• University degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Strong oral and written communication skills

“Preferred” Skills and Experience:

• Experience implementing real-time SONAR/radar processing systems
• Parallel programming using the Message Passing Interface (MPI) library
• Experience of scientific computing using vector math (VSIPL) and linear algebra (BLAS, LAPACK) libraries
• Microsoft Windows programming experience using Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC)
