IDCW - Image Data Calibration Workstation
Array developed the Image Data Calibration Workstation (IDCW) for the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) to analyse RADARSAT images. The IDCW used Image Analysis Software (IAS) to analyse images from the Canadian Data Processing Facility (CDPF) in Gatineau, Quebec, and at the RADARSAT Mission Management Office (MMO) in St. Hubert, Quebec. The IAS performed image quality assessment and calibration operations on the images and the Calibration Analysis Software (CAS) analysed calibration data.
The IDCW featured the following components:
- Graphical User Interface (GUI) - The operator used a GUI to select calibration operations, user selectable parameters, images, 2D plot, and 3D plot displays.
- Image Calibration Function - The IDCW used routines for chirp analysis, echo data analysis, regression, polynamical fitting, interpolation and extrapolation.
- Database - The IDCW used client services to connect, retrieve and store various reports.
