Radar and SAR

Array has been developing advanced radar data- and signal-processing systems for over 20 years. Our areas of expertise include developing leading-edge algorithms, producing complex systems, and performing system integration. We first became involved with airborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) surveillance systems in the early 1980s, and have worked on a number of advanced development projects since then.

Remote Sensing

Array Systems also offers remote sensing technology to its customers by tailoring each installation to satisfy the user’s specific needs. We can provide satellite ground station components, or complete turn-key systems. We also participate in technology transfer and development programs.
Array Systems has been an active partner in Canadian and international Remote Sensing programs since its inception. Array Systems’ most recent contribution in the area of remote sensing is the implementation of the Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS) L2 processor and core operational processor for the SMOS satellite for the European Space Agency (ESA). Array is also currently under contract to ESA to develop the Sentinel 1 Toolbox for viewing and post processing of satellite SAR imagery.
