    AOI Monitoring

    The Area Of Interest (AOI) Monitoring module of the GEOINT SAR Toolbox allows you to specify, save, and load AOIs to be automatically batch processed.

    AOIs can be specified graphically by drawing an area on the world map. AOIs can be saved and reloaded without requiring you to re-enter any parameters.

    You can also specify which types of products to use based on the fields in the metadata database such as only processing RADARSAT-2 SLC products from a specific date forward, etc.

    Each AOI must specify the input folder to recursively scan for new products, the output folder where to save the processed results, the processing graph and the scheduled time to begin scanning and processing.

    There is no limit to the number of AOIs that can be defined for monitoring. When new products are found by the system that are covered in whole or partially by an AOI, the system will trigger the processing chain for that AOI to be queued for processing.

    EOGrid

    Array’s EOGrid can be used for batch processing over a distributed network of computers. The EOGrid can be easily deployed to both Linux and Windows computers available on your network or on nodes of a cluster based system. Node discovery is done automatically and new nodes can be inserted into the grid on the fly.The EOGrid will distribute a batch processing job from the Toolbox and balance the processing load across all available nodes.

    All processing nodes must be able to access a shared, high throughput, RAID storage. All of the CPUs nodes being utilized do not need to have a similar architecture or even use a similar operating system. All nodes must be able to run the GEOINT Toolbox and must be able to access the shared storage.

    All nodes should be sharing access to auxiliary data such as DEMs and orbit files in order to minimize duplication of data.

    Array can set up the grid configuration for you or provide support to help your IT staff deploy it on your system.

    Product Metadata Database

    Array's GEOINT SAR Toolbox contains a Product Library tool that optimizes the identification of data products in a database for fast retrieval of the metadata of locally stored products. Search results are displayed in a table listing product name, path, mission, product type, acquisition date, pass, pixel spacing, etc., without actually opening the original products. The footprint of each image is outlined on the world map over top of Blue Marble images with a place names vector layer. Multilooked quicklooks of the images are also generated and stored in the database for quick previewing.

    The Product Library can automatically add new metadata to the database whenever a product is manually opened. The user may also define a list of repository folders that will be scanned recursively for new or modified products.

    The product readers of the Toolbox are able to abstract the metadata from each product into the Generic Product Model of the Toolbox. This allows the Product Library and all processing tools of the Toolbox to work with the metadata in this common form without requiring the user to manually input any metadata.

    Products may be searched in terms of mission, product type, beam mode, ground location, date and time of acquisition, processing history, previously defined AOIs, and suggested image pairing. Products may also be searched by graphically drawing an area of interest on the world map and querying the database for products that cover the AOI.

    You may then select from the resulting table of products which products to open, add to a project, or batch process directly from the Product Library.

    The Product Library can also suggest images for CCD pairing based on geolocation, product type, pass, resolution, and acquisition time.

  • The GEOINT SAR Toolbox provides robust tools for advanced image exploitation of civilian, military and commercial SAR missions including RADARSTAT-2, TerraSARX, Cosmo-Skymed, ENVISAT, ERS1& 2, ALOS and UAVSAR.

    The GEOINT SAR Toolbox is intended specifically for the Geospatial Intelligence community in assisting IMINT and GEOINT analysis of spaced based radar products as well as Environmental & Disaster Monitoring. The Toolbox is able to automatically batch process user defined processing chains on products over multiple Areas of Interest. In addition to Satellite SAR products, it can incorporate optical data and vector data for contextual awareness. Array's GEOINT SAR Toolbox includes one year of full support.

    The GEOINT SAR Toolbox is built on top of the framework for the Next ESA SAR Toolbox (NEST) developed for ESA. t contains all the latest stable features plus extra enhancements to better support defence and environmental agencies.
